Based in rural Buckinghamshire, amberoctopus is a small business created by a father of two young daughters. Founded in 2021 during the pandemic, amberoctopus was created by accident. We were looking for a specific book on Amazon and couldn’t find it, so we decided to create our own. When other people started buying our book, we spotted the opportunity and realised that would could produce books that people valued.
Our aim is to create engaging books for children that spark their imagination and creativity. Seeking to go beyond traditional colouring books, we want to inspire individual flair and encourage children to develop their own creations. We also know looking after small children is very hard work, it’s our hope that we occupy children long enough to allow parents and guardians to enjoy a cup of tea in peace.
